Print Distribution International is a major shipper of time sensitive material from the UK to US east coast mailing and distribution centres.

With many mailings required to take place simultaneously in the UK and US there is never any allowance in the schedule for delays. A recent case in point, we were asked to deliver a 24 tonne consignment to a large US east coast mailing centre.

The documents were required for an ADR mailing due to post in the UK and US on Wednesday, with the documents being available for shipping on Monday a.m.

Unfortunately due to some last minute figure changes over the weekend prior to the shipping date, the consignment was delayed by 24 hours being available on Tuesday am.

We were able to reschedule the whole project including negotiating a last minute space allocation with the airline and still deliver the consignment in the US on time for mailing on Wednesday.
